What is an angel? What is an arcangel?

Angels are messengers between the spirit and the earth plain, the word angel comes from the greek word angelos, which is derived from the hebrew word mal’akh meaning messenger. angels can appear in any form when working on the earth plain for there purpose. Angels are not there to be worshipped only god alone is to be worshipped. Angels are administrators within the massive realms of gods creation and they willingly carry out Gods will. They also bring guidance and encouragement, some of theses angelic beings are protectors for those upon the earth plain, they also engage in spiritual warfare.

Angels appear in many of the worlds major religions there are many forms of beings of light which are arranged in categories, cerubim, cherubim, powers, thrones, last in the line come angels, and before them arcangels, who have varying roles. in the christian faith there are generaly seven archangels within the christian faith, archangel michael-who is a protector, Gabriel-anouncer of new occurences(hence Gabriels proclaimation concerning the forth coming birth of christ to Mary) the others are Raphael, Uriel, Sariel, Ramiel and Metatron.
