I have a young son who says he sees spirit people at home. He also has a pretend friend, what should I do?

Young children have just come from the world of spirit, so they are more susceptible to spirit, if he is not frightened then that’s ok, treat this in a matter of fact way, do not ridicule or embarrass the child or forcibly bring up the subject especially in front of others, however it may be an idea to ask what there friend looks like, it may be a deceased relative harmlessly just popping in, or through enquiry you may find it’s a person who once lived in the house that has passed.

The child may recognise the spirit in a family photo album, and might point it out to you. Do not show any worry or fear, as you may install this in the child, if you do recognize who the spirit is, it may be an idea to say something like oh that’s granny coming in to see if we are alright.

Also it may be an idea to say to the child let this be our secret as the child may be spitefully ridiculed by other or older children.

Now if the child is scared install in the mind of the child that he or she is in control and should they not want to see any (spirit) person then they don’t have to, the child is in control and should tell any unwelcome visitor to go and never come back.

Obviously if the child has a chink of spirit expectation and attention, then the situation may reoccur as an opening has been created, the child must be assertive in telling the visitor(s) to go.
