Ouija Board

Man has always wanted to touch, to reach out and get answers from the other side of life, in so much as making contact with spirits who can give guidance, direction and answers. In fact many generals or leaders of past armies, including the ancient Romans  would consult spirits with reference  to the outcome of any up and coming battle.

Obviously this would of been to any great advantage to such an army should the prediction be a positive one, many ancient peoples were also fairly superstitious, and to know that the gods or spirit had blessed the end result before it had even come to pass could be used to motivate them, pre motivate  troops.

Many methods have been used to find messages with outcome predictions,  both in the past and now, for instance the reading of animal entrails, flight patterns of birds, priests and priestesses, mystics and others have been used.

We now turn our attention to Ouija boards, some people call them spirit boards, but they are and do the same thing, in their purpose of divination. These boards came about originally as a parlour game some time in the mid 1800’s.

The term Ouija derives from the French word for  yes, and the German word for the same, so it’s basically a yes yes board. They were originally called talking boards, being introduced  in England in 1854 where it was patented, they soon caught on. In 1966 Parker Brothers produced boards for sale as a ‘game’ in fact there slogan for this product was...it’s only a game...isn’t it?...these boards sold in vast amounts which reached up to an amazing 25 million plus sales.

Ouija boards usually come shaped as either a rectangular board with letters spread across in alphabetical order, under these are numbers 0-9, and also on the board are a yes and a no, as well as a ‘goodbye’ which would be used for any departing spirit to make their intention of  it’s over known to the participating sitters. Placed upon this board is what is called a planchette, which is a triangle, or heart shaped plastic item, this is used to point to each letter when a word or sentence is being spelled out by spirit, of course this would have just one finger of each sitter lightly placed upon it.

Other boards are usually round and are covered in glass, or smooth wood. The printed letters are spread around the outer edge of the board alphabetically, again with a yes and no often to the inside left and right of this board, as well as numbers usually in the lower middle and a goodbye below these, on top of the surface a small glass would be placed and upturned whereby the sitters would lightly balance one finger upon the upturned glasses bottom, when contact ahd been made the glass would glide across the surface, spelling out with each letter or number a message.

The board can also work as I have witnessed by simple writing out in felt tip pen the alphabet etc, on either cards or cut out paper and arranging them in the same circular order as above, when I saw this happen the glass was simply placed upside down on a smooth desk surface, but worked the same as a conventional Ouija board.

Sceptics say oh well it’s the glass being pushed by the sitters, maybe in some cases it might be, or that the glass is using some power from the sitters to make it act in the way that it does. Certainly one can only speak from experience, the times that I have used it, I can assure you that no one was pushing the glass which eventually raced around the board at a very fast pace, often throwing fingers off that were lightly balanced on top of the it.

Questions were asked such as one sitter would say what was my Grandfathers name,  in reply the correct name was spelled out by the travelling upturned glass gliding to the letters on the board, and without any knowledge of the other sitters ever knowing that name, at no point was one person the sitter who asked the question able to guide the glass to spell out the name with six other fingers from others placed upon it.

It is said that you must ask the contacting spirit three times are you from God, each time the answer given by spirit must be yes, however I cannot say strongly enough here, that no matter what spirit work you may be participating in, both before and after a strong prayer of good intent and protection must always be made, and that those who come through in spirit must be those working only in Gods true light and love, spirit guides must also be asked to protect and keep any lower negative entity away before and during the operation of the boards. The prayer is made to God.

Afterwards a closing prayer must be made in the same way.

These boards rightly so are given a bad image, in that a bunch of school kids may go round to one of there bedrooms after school pull the curtains, light a candle and simply operate the board without any pre protection prayer, they simply sit round the board and say, is anybody, any spirit there if so move the glass, well yes any spirit may be there, and I mean any spirit.

These boards and the use of them must not be taken lightly, there are lower entity spirits, mischeveous spirits, and even then not all spirits in Heaven are saints. Spirits can and do pose as others, for instance who’s there ‘’Hitler, or Stalin’’ or who ever. They may also pose as one of your deceased loved ones up and to a point, so please be careful.  Always ask  provable questions of the spirit who says that they are your loved one in spirit communicating, ask questions that would relate to your intimate knowledge of your loved one in spirit, it’s for them to prove, but even then as I said take some things with a pinch of salt.

Like attracts like, have good intent, work in the light with those prayers of protection, take any prediction with a pinch of salt, if they make a statement, only time will prove it, so don’t get too anxious and het up over the promise of a prediction, that has yet not materialise. Also remember that spirits understanding of time is not as is our understanding of time, many spirits have lost the understanding of earth time, for there is no time in the world of spirit.

My experience whilst doing the board with others, is that for some strange reason, the only spirit who has 99% of the time made contact has been my main guide Sam. The messages have been of  high quality good intent, words of encouragement and love, but even here especially when been given predictions I have used logic and an ok we will see type of mind.

Whilst writing this article I have drawn exclusively on my own experience, in some cases I may be wrong, but in many cases I believe that what I have stated is true.
